Abel Moore papers, 1803-1857 (bulk 1820-1848).

Papers from Moore's estate, which was administered by Concord lawyer Nathan Brooks. Papers include deeds, bills and receipts, business papers, Moore family papers, and two land surveys by Henry David Thoreau. Deeds relate primarily to Concord real estate owned by Abel Moore, some to real estate in Lowell owned by his son Reuben. Business papers include material relating to Moore's dealing in wood and significant records of the Concord Steam Mill Company.
